Together with Armand Pedrós, the APOD group designer, IMAND has participated in the creation of the “Festa de la Joventut” (youth party) image. A provocative, innovating, and stunning image, as some say.

From now on you can find the results of this project on the streets through posters and leaflets, if you still haven’t seen it on the national press.

As we announced on the post IMAND ja és del CEPIC, we are happy to announce,  we already appear at the CEPIC annual publication; the European directory that contains all associated Picture Libraries and photography agencies.

*1.053 are the members gathered by CEPIC (Coordination of European Picture Agencies). And for the first time in history, Andorra appears on this book; and thank to the “A”, it’s the first of the list.

Thank to the organization of the Andorra National Comitee for UNESCO and the artistic direction by Faust Campamà, Ordino has hosted the first Artcamp in Andorra. It has gathered fourty artists from Haiti, Cuba Grenada, Congo, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Andorra, Spain, France, Austria, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Albania, Lithuania, Estonia, Rumania, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, Cambodja, Mongolia and Malasia.

Today we end this meeting with a final exhibition that counts with three paintings from each artist, an installation and some sculptures, like a forest made of iron trees.

We all hope this experience will be repeated in the following years since it has basically been a cultural exchange between very different people that have built strong relationships in only two weeks.

Four participants of the Artcamp.

We are pleased to communicate the floral artist Montserrat Nadal Mestres’ works have been selected for being published at the International Floral Art Prize, organized by the publisher Jaak Van Damme. 265 compositions made by 158 artists from 28 countries participated in this year’s edition.

You can see the works in pictures, taken by IMAND photographers Susanna Ferran and Marc Colomines, at the prize publication, edited by Stichting Kunstboek. ISBN 978-90-5856-270-8.

Last july the 7th, IMAND assisted at the 40th edition of the comunication night, at the “Palau de Congressos de Catalunya”, organized by the Catalunya’s publicity and public relations school. But we did’t just assist, we also took part in it by making a live presentation focused in the new varieties of advertising.

In this occasion it was a colaboration with Light Project. A Video Jockey association from Madrid that participates in events, with whom IMAND works actively in different visual diciplines.

Through this event, where 4 artists with differen specialities put together live image and sound, Light Project achieved provocation and reflection about the new paths the advertisement world is conquering.

After the opening in Andorra, last tuesday 27th of May, we brievely moved to Barcelona to make an international inauguration.

The Be Cool night club recieved IMAND first act realized outside the Principality’s fronteers. Photographers, designes, friends and family assisted to the second opening.
We also want to thank these people, and the ones that couldn’t come, their help and colaboration which made IMAND possible.

Thanks also to Buffet Libre Dj’s (Marc and Miguel) for mixing the night’s music.

Yesterday, finally, we opened our office to everyone.

In May the 27th at 12:30 pm, IMAND has become Andorra’s first Picture Library, offering pictures of the Pyrenees, Andorra and mountain subjects. 12 professional photographers and an ilustrator provide us, and our clients, with high quality imagery.

Therefore, and with the M. I. Cap de Govern (Prime Minister) and the OIE (Oficina d’Innovació Empresarial) members support, we declare our official inauguration.
